On the road again…
Will you be among the thousands of drivers hitting the road this winter? This time of year many people will be getting on the road. Road trips with the family or to go visit family can be very enjoyable. Let’s keep the smiles going by preparing your car for the winter road trip.
The CDC has a few tips for keep your car safe this winter season.
Winter Car Checklist
- Keep a cell phone charger in the car. Our phones are only as good as the battery. If the battery dies we could be stranded so plan ahead.
- Road salt and sand are handy if you get stuck. It will help your tires get traction and get un-stuck.
- Jumper Cables
- First Aid Kit
- Flash light.
- Road map, just incase. Although most of us rely on GPS, it’s always good to know how to get directions by following a map.
- Blankets are especially helpful this time of year.
