The ideal candidate for this sales position has:

  • 2 to 4 years of business-to-business sales experience (but we’ll gladly meet with candidates who have strong business experience in other backgrounds)

  • A self-starter personality

Sales Rep Job Description:

  • Proactively develop and close high-quality new business opportunities.
  • Be the agency representative to prospective clients, fellow professionals, the public, and the general business community.
  • May also include managing current agency clients to ensure high retention and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make proactive contact with prospects and clients to build and maintain strong trusted adviser relationships.
  • Prepare proposals for prospective clients.
  • Assist in the closing and account management of group business through local associations, networks, and other targeted clients both directly and through social media.
  • Achieve all established sales, service, and production goals.
